24V Temporary Lighting

Lawell’s 24V Temporary Lighting System provides builders and contractors a safe and flexible solution when installing temporary lighting systems on building and construction sites to meet the requirements outlined in AS/NZS 3012.

Egress routes and work areas often change on construction sites and therefore the lighting systems also needs to be reconfigured, expanded or moved to take into consideration these changes. The 24V Temporary Lighting System allows this to be done quickly, at minimal cost.

The lighting system provides a range of power supplies, exit lights, emergency lights and plug and play cables to simplify installation

By using a 24V lighting system, the protection and containment requirements are significantly easier to achieve, resulting in faster installations, removal and relocation – this saves a lot of time, money and improves site safety. Using a 24V system eliminates the electrical risks involved with 240V cables or fittings which could be damaged in an active construction site. Being 24V means that installations and changes do not require a licensed electrician to perform the work (assuming a 240V power point is available).

All 24V temporary lights and power supplies come with IP65 pre-wired connectors and are equipped with bridge rectifiers to prevent wiring errors. A range of IP65 interconnecting 2 core cables is available in lengths from 2 to 10m, including 3 way splitter cables to provide a flexible and scalable solution for general and emergency lighting on site. All components use easy tool free IP65 connectors.
